Sad start to season

It's all very sad.

THE South Coast community has been stunned by the murder of a woman in Munster last week.

It is believed that the woman had driven to the beachfront where she was going to take her dog for a walk.

Her body was found by another beachgoer on the steps near her motor car. Her car keys and the dog were still in the vehicle.

Our area is promoted as being a peaceful and relaxing place for a holiday.

And this tragic incident did not happen late at night – the woman was stabbed to death between 3pm and 4pm.

Police have made no arrests.

Recently the Herald’s front page asked the question ‘Why is life so cheap?’

Why indeed?
