More water woes

It's not ideal ahead of the approaching holiday season.

COINCIDENCE or sabotage? That is the question many South Coasters are asking after many areas were left without water at the start of the long weekend.

Residents and business owners believe there is something suspicious about the timing of the disruptions.

And their suspicions are valid as it would appear that whenever an influx of visitors is expected the taps run dry.

Once again Ugu claimed that it had experienced failures with the pipeline supplying the Bhobhoyi dam.

But the municipality remains mum on the investigations into the tampering of the municipality’s infrastructure in December last year.

This is not good news for the July holiday season.
