‘Quite Frankly’, Anthony Stonier returns to Margate with Sinatra tribute
The legend with a unique voice has been a recognisable presence in the KwaZulu-Natal and South African theatre industry for the past 30 years.
Anthony Stonier, will stage ‘Sinatra…Quite Frankly’ at Margate Retirement Village’s Azalea Hall on April 28, from 6pm.
The Durban musical theatre legend will present his favourite hits from great musicals, such as ‘You Make Me Feel So Young’, ‘Witchcraft’, ‘Strangers in the Night’, ‘Chicago’, ‘All the Way’ and many more. Following the success of his 2017 revue, ‘Showstoppers’, Anthony returns to the South Coast for an evening of music, glitz and glamour.

The legend with a unique voice has been a recognisable presence in the KwaZulu-Natal and South African theatre industry for the past 30 years. He has been involved in numerous productions over the years in capacities ranging from actor and singer to pianist and composer.
The icon’s inherent musicality imbues the intimate reflection on Sinatra with sincerity, warmth and charm. He won a Vita award in 1989 for Frank ’n Stein and has since won two Durban Theatre Awards for Best Male Vocalist in 2003 and 2007. He continues to have an immeasurable influence on popular culture such as music, film, art and theatre.
Tickets to the supper theatre evening are R75 and are available at the Margate Retirement Village RAC and Admin offices.
