Rocking the daisies becomes world’s first festival to use ‘can cups’ #gogreen
SA's leading green festival is ensuring they leave a positive impact on our environment.
Together with CAN DO!, Rocking the Daisies will be the first major festival in the world not to serve any drinks in plastic cups.

The festival held from October 5 to 7 at Cloof Wine Estate, Darling, Western Cape will be the launch of the first ever aluminium custom-made, re-usable and 100% recyclable cans that transform into cups!
Plastic cups, straws and single use plastics are some of the main items which generate waste at festivals. Cans can be repurposed and recycled indefinitely, making them a great choice for our environment. We choose cans also because like you, they are #unbreakable.
Organisers have taken a plastic detox and have signed a pledge, promising to reduce our use of (single use) plastic at our event.
They urge everyone to commit to reducing / ending your use of single use plastic for the next year.
Together with CAN DO! Rocking the Daisies will be, for the very first time in SA, bringing to you ‘water in a can.’
This is their exciting solution to rid our festival of plastic bottles making us one of the greenest festivals in the world.
