To the youth he was a hero, but to the American establishment pop singer Jim Morrison of The Doors was a drunken, disorderly, drug-taking, obscene rabble-rouser.

He was once again arrested after a concert in Miami and charged with ‘lewd and lascivious behaviour in public by exposing his private parts and by simulating masturbation and oral copulation’, plus charges of profanity, drunkenness and various minor charges. And the kids loved it.
