Legends triumph in Desai cricket tourney

The tournament was well organised.

The Desai Premier T20 League saw four teams in action last weekend, namely Legends A, Sheppie Lions, Port Edward Dolphins and Wolf Pack.

The first semi-final was played between Sheppie Lions and Port Edward Dolphins. Lions won the toss and chose to bowl, with Dolphins making 136-6 in the 20 overs. In response, Lions had their moments but could only manage 121-7, meaning Dolphins won by 15 runs.

In the second match, Wolf Pack won the toss and chose to bat, only managing a paltry 69 all out. Legends had no trouble knocking off the runs, doing so in the 12th over with no loss of wickets.

It set the stage for an intriguing final, which turned out to be a tense, low-scoring affair. Legends won the toss and batted first, making 97-8 in 20 overs. Dolphin responded with 87 all out to see Legends the winner by 10 runs.
