WERNER de Jager appeared in the Amanzimtoti Magistrate’s Court on December 7 where he is facing a charge of murdering his wife, Reverend Liezel de Jager, in October 2021. His bail application was postponed to January 9, 2024. He was remanded in custody until his next appearance.
