Sharks rugby call-up for Kuswag’s first team captain

Jaiden Laidlaw continues to add to his achievements with a recent selection for the SKZN Rugby U18 Squad and the Sharks high school team.

Jaiden Laidlaw continues to make his mark both on and off the rugby field. The Grade 12 deputy head boy at Kuswag Skool, who also captains the school’s first rugby team, has achieved yet another major milestone in his rugby career.

Laidlaw was recently selected for the SKZN Rugby U18 Squad for 2026 and has also earned selection to the prestigious U18 XV Reitz Week Sharks high schools team.

The talented player will travel to Reitz during the July school holidays to represent the Sharks at the highly anticipated tournament.

He was also selected club captain for the Colts side at Amanzimtoti Rugby Club, adding to his impressive list of achievements.

Known for his leadership, determination and passion for the game, Laidlaw continues to inspire teammates, fellow learners and the wider community with his dedication and commitment to rugby excellence.
