Good results posted in midweek tennis
First team beat Hillcrest 1 4-2
AMANZIMTOTI Tennis Club’s midweek women continue to post excellent league results.
The first team beat Hillcrest 1 4-2 and the second team had a 6-0 win over Chiltern 3. Matches scheduled for Wednesday, 14 August are: First team away to Glenashley 1 and the second team at home against Hillcrest 2. Courts will be available for social games.
Note that no matches are scheduled for Wednesday, 7 August.
Unfortunately both the women and men’s teams lost their matches last weekend. The women lost against Braaiketts and the men lost against Prospect 2. Matches scheduled for Saturday, 3 August include the women away to Brighton and on Sunday, 4 August the men are at home against Kloof 2. Members, families and friends are asked to go to the club on Sunday morning from about 8.30am to support the men’s team. On Saturday all courts will be available for social tennis.
