Headless goat floating in Toti River drift (Not for sensitive viewers)

Gruesome sight greets the unsuspecting near the River Gardens site

THE bloated carcass of a headless goat is floating in a drift on the Toti River, near the River Gardens site.
This was the site that greeted the Sun’s online manager, Natalie Glinister and DTP operator Megan Brett, while they were taking general photos in the area at about 11am today (Thursday, 29 August).
“It was a terrible sight to see,” said Natalie. “It appeared to have been tied down to the riverbed with some twine.”
The Sun has in recent months highlighted issues that have affected the river’s eco-system, including sewage overflows and a contracted painting crew who used the river to clean their equipment.
