Jabulani helps fill its fundraising bucket

JABULANI Home for the Aged's morning market raised R13,500 on Saturday, 14 September for the organisation's water tank project.

“We are delighted with the amount,” said fundraising co-ordinators, Errol and Sharon-Anne Theron. A holiday raffle also on the go currently has added R1,080 to the coffers.

Some R60,000 has to be raised to replace three 30-year-old asbestos drinking water tanks on the roof with plastic jo-jo tanks.

Businesses and the public are urged to support the fundraising drive. Any amount is welcome, but those making a donation of R1,000 and more will be listed on the adjacent barometer until the target is reached.
