Jabulani water fund grows
JABULANI Home for the Aged's fundraising drive to purchase two new plastic drinking water tanks is gaining momentum with some R6,500 raised this week.
Donations were made by: Lodge Grantleigh – R3,000; Amanzimtoti Bowling Club – R1,260; Cogs AWF – R1,000 and Jabulani’s holiday raffle which raised R1,250.
Some R60,000 has to be raised to replace three 30-year-old asbestos drinking water tanks on the roof with plastic jo-jo tanks.
Businesses and the public are urged to support. Any amount is welcome, but those making a donation of R1,000 and more will be listed on the adjacent barometer until the target is reached.
