Midmar fundraisers make record donation to Hospice
A group of young men broke their own record of raising funds for Khanya Hospice at this year's Midmar Mile.
They raised R30,532 for the organisation through sponsorships to swim the Midmar Mile, as well as hosting a golf day in January. This far exceeded last year’s donation of R14,000.
“Well done guys, siya bonga kakhulu, baie dankie and thank you very much,” said CEO of Khanya Hospice, Neil McDonald, after receiving the donation from Dillan Drew, Roan van der Westhuizen and Bradley du Preez. They are an inspiration to us all. They have already said they are aiming to raise R50,000 next year,” said Neil.
