New PRO to highlight SPCA’s work

AMANZIMTOTI SPCA has a new PRO at its helm, Michelle Hannan, but she is no stranger to the organisation, having volunteered for several years.

Michelle initially volunteered in the office on Saturdays and has continued her work with the animal welfare organisation by assisting with fundraising and walking adoption dogs. “I love animals, I have adopted four cats from the SPCA,” she said.

“My goal is to garner a steady flow of income and market the SPCA as a friendly environment. As we are non-profit, we rely on the community for cash, food and donations for our charity shop.”

Food items can be dropped off at Ultra Video in Warner Beach and Seadoone Mall and Doonside Veterinary Clinic.

Michelle has been living in Toti since the age of two, schooled here and studied textile design in Durban.
