Dan Pienaar Drive water woes over
Serious leak in Adams Road necessitated the line be shut down.

Residents in Dan Pienaar Drive and surrounds who complained about poor water supply, can rest assured the problems have been resolved.
Residents complained they have had their water supply shut off three times in as many weeks.
Ward 97 councillor, Andre Beetge said two weeks ago the contractor responsible for the Ziko Road upgrade, which is parallel to Wade Road at the top of Adams Road, damaged two sections of pipe off the main line.
“That required replacement and the line that feeds into the area had to be shut down,” said Cllr Beetge.
“On Saturday, 31 May there was a serious leak at 111 Adams Road that necessitated the line be shut down for a hour, to do a temporary emergency repair.
A follow-up to do the permanent repair was done on Monday, 2 June where the water was turned off from about 3pm.
The problem should now be sorted out.”
