AN alleged thief was nabbed within 30 minutes of breaking into a car and stealing a GPS and charger in Ridge Road, Toti on Thursday, 19 June.
The incident happened at about 7.30pm. The CCPO received a description of the man and half an hour later, he was spotted in Beach Road by the organisation’s Wayne Smerden.
Further investigation revealed the man was a known criminal in the area and had until then managed to evade arrest.
The stolen goods were found in his possession, along with a large dagger. He was handed over to police with the stolen property.
