Give to help Hospice keep on giving

Hospice is looking for volunteers to help in its three shops.

Khanya Hospice appeals to the public to donate new or second-hand clothes, bric-a-brac or anything to give away to its second-hand shops.

“We are not government supported and have to find our own ways of fundraising,” said CEO, Neil McDonald.

“There is a Hospice shop at Southgate Mall in Kingsway, where we put donated goods up for sale and that helps sustain the free nursing care we offer.” Hospice can collect if you cannot drop goods off at the Toti shop.

“We are a giving NGO – giving of ourselves, giving the best home-based care we can offer and all of this is for free. We give hope to the hopeless, we give food, if we have, to the less fortunate and we give toiletries and clothes to those in need.”

Hospice is always looking for volunteers to help in its three shops. Anyone wanting to volunteer or donate to Hospice in cash or in kind, contact 039-973-0277 or email manager@khanyahospice.org.za.
