Rhodies meet for annual Founders gathering
Our objects are to raise funds for the elderly Rhodesians.
THE Rhodesia Association of South Africa, incorporating the Flame Lily Foundation, a registered non profit organisation, will be holding its annual Rhodies and Founders Sadza and Vellies gathering at Musketeers of the German Club, (old Shamwari Club) at 7 Barham Drive, Westville from 11am on Sunday, 6 July.
It will be a braai for all members of RASA and any other Rhodesian/Zimbabweans who would like to join.
The association will supply the braai fires, sadza, gravy and a limited amount of salads. Take along your own meat and perhaps a salad to share. There will be limited braai packs available to purchase, but it is necessary to know who would like to take advantage of this offer.
The premises are licensed so do not take your own refreshments. The aim is to raise funds for the elderly Rhodesians, for them to also have some fun. Call Jill de Beer on 083-449-8422 if you would like to attend, for catering purposes.
