Toti WI fights cold with tasty desserts

MELANIE Venske, president of Amanzimtoti Women’s Institute welcomed all members to the cold July meeting held on Tuesday, 8 July, and bade a special welcome to visitor Grace Finch.
It was good to note that Jeanette Niewenhuis’ knee operation was successful, and members wish Rina Perrin a speedy recovery from her back operation on Monday, 14 July.
Members were delighted to see the demonstration of special desserts prepared by members Sherri Stone, Cynthia de Lange, Norma Veldtman and Corinne Stephenson, and even better, members were allowed to sample these desserts and received the written recipes.
A difficult quiz was given by Corinne Stephenson, she had everyone thinking hard for answers, but all had great fun.
