Councillor Andre Beetge and the ward 97 committee invite the community of ward 97 to a public meeting at the Amanzimtoti Civic Centre on Tuesday, 9 September from 6pm to 8pm.
The main speaker for the evening is the head of the eThekwini revenue department, Peet du Plessis, who will elaborate on the 2014/15 budget and take questions on revenue-related matters.
“The meeting will further serve to introduce the ward committee members and encourage participation by residents in ward committee sub committees, in order to formulate recommendations on ward-related issues to eThekwini Municipality,” said Cllr Beetge.
