Talk on insurance fund

Customer relations manager of SASRIA will address the Durban South Business Forum.

THE DURBAN South Business Forum will host Nico Knop, customer relations manager of the South African Special Risk Insurance Association (SASRIA), to address them on the role of the organisation today and why contributions are still made to the fund.

Every person who has short-term insurance contributes to the SASRIA fund. The fund originated in the 1980s when survivors of terrorist attacks were compensated from the fund. The fund is still relevant today and is applied when strikes become violent and damage is caused. The meeting is on Monday, 22 September at Lords & Legends at 7pm and is open to the public. The cost is R80 per person, including dinner. Anyone interested can contact Carine Rix on 083-440-3537 or info@dsbf.co.za to book a seat.
