Wessa articles shed light on waste disposal

Wessa will be doing further articles on waste disposal and hopes the community will assist

EDITOR – In response to Lionel Karsen’s letter in the Sun dated 17 April, the Wessa Upper South Coast branch has recently had two articles featured in the Sun on disposal of hazardous waste.

The first was on health care risk waste and the next on compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs). Perhaps the Sun could republish these which were obviously not seen by Mr Karsen.

Wessa will be doing further articles on waste disposal and hopes the community will assist by handling waste in the correct manner. Our mission is to promote public participation in caring for the earth.
