Hijacked SUV retrieved within hours

The owner was hijacked as he was leaving home

A VEHICLE hijacked in Amanzimtoti on Wednesday, 22 June was recovered in Folweni later that day by response officers.

“The owner was hijacked of his Jeep Compass as he was leaving home,” said ET Rapid Response South Coast managing member, Tony Lokker.

Motorists must be vigilant when leaving and arriving home

“After receiving information on the hijacking, our tactical response team and Sargeant Twala of Toti SAPS found the vehicle in Folweni. No suspects were arrested.
