Snow in KZN this weekend?
Toti temperatures are expected to hover between 14 and 17 degrees

Dress warm this weekend or snuggle under the covers with a loved one as the temperature is set to drop with snow expected to fall as close as Nottingham Road.
On Saturday in Amanzimtoti the temperature is expected to drop to a minimum of 13 degrees and only rise to 17. Sunday is even colder with a minimum of 13 and a maximum of 14. There is also a chance of a shower or two on both days. Monday is also forecast to be chilly at a max of 17, before the mercury starts to rise up to 20 on Tuesday.
According to the Snow Report website, snow is possible in the Kokstad, KZN Drakensberg, Lesotho and KZN Midlands on Saturday night. By Sunday morning, snow is expected to fall in the KZN Midlands, KZN Drakensberg and in Lesotho and will continue all day in these areas.
Sunday night will see further snow in the KZN Midlands, the Free State around Harrismith and Van Reenens, the Kokstad and Matatielle areas, the entire KZN Drakensberg, Lesotho, the EC Drakensberg and further west in the EC, including Hogsback.
Monday morning will still see snow in the KZN Midlands in isolated areas, the KZN Drakensberg, Lesotho, EC Drakensberg, Hogsback area, and the north of the Eastern Cape.
The snow band will continue to move west through Monday, and the Groot Swartberge in the Western Cape could see some more light snow through the afternoon, while still snowing in the Eastern Cape Drakensberg, KZN Drakensberg and Lesotho. By Tuesday afternoon, all snowfalls should be finished.
