Hospice celebrates Spring

Hospice staff wish all Toti residents a good Spring season, filled with new beginnings.

Spring is in the air and even Khanya Hospice staff can feel it.

“We have had such lovely weather lately and they are happy not to wear jerseys and jackets anymore,” said Khanya Hospice CEO, Neil McDonald.

Hospice staff will celebrate the ‘change of the season’ and wish all Toti residents a good Spring season, filled with new beginnings.

“Shake off the cold and dreariness, and shake off the burdens and troubles that make us sick and push us down. This is a new season for our patients to get better,” said Sister NC Mbatha. “We have had and cared for lots of very sick patients lately but we know this season is changing.”

If anyone needs the palliative nursing care that Khanya Hospice offers for free, call 083-597-8985 or email hospice@scottnet.co.za.
