Provide a forever home for SPCA’s furry friends
If you're looking to provide a forever home by adopting a pet, heads over to Amanzimtoti SPCA's next open adoption day on Saturday, 1 October from 8.30am until noon.

Pop down to the SPCA in Athlone Park and meet fellow animal lovers – the staff, the volunteers and members of the community.
There will be delicious breakfast rolls and piping-hot speciality coffee on sale – plus an exclusive selection of books on sale at the charity thrift shop, which will be open. Clean out your cupboards and donate your unwanted items to the SPCA to sell – children who donate will receive a free Barbie or Animal Planet magazine and an adorable SPCA sticker.
Or donate some dog or cat food.
Of course, the dogs available for adoption will be in top form, being taken out for their regular walks.
Scroll through the photos in the gallery below…. but don’t stop here – go along and meet them at the Amanzimtoti SPCA

Adoption of an animal makes so much sense – the sterilisation and inoculation of the animal is included in the adoption fee – and with all the love and care these dogs receive at the centre, they are certainly well behaved and emotionally balanced. Email PRO Sarah-Jane Bow at pro@spcatoti.co.za for more details, or call 031-904-2424/5.
If you can’t make the open day, head off to Amanzimtoti SPCA in Nyati Road, Athlone Park any week day until 4pm and on Saturdays from 8.30am to noon.
