
A pedestrian believed to be in his 60s was killed when a vehicle lost control and rolled into him on the M35 near Folweni just after 10am today (Friday, 1 September).
Rescue Care paramedics responded just after 10am to find the vehicle on its roof and the pedestrian in a critical condition. Paramedics worked to stabilise the man at the scene, however his injuries were too severe and the man died at the scene. The motorist sustained moderate injuries and was also stabilised before being transported to a nearby hospital.
The cause of the collision will be the subject of a SAPS investigation.
