It’s Friday today, so whip up a few homemade burgers for you and your family.

Try this yummy recipe by Royco which will certainly put a smile on your loved ones face:

  • 600 g mince
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • can of pineapple rings
  • ROYCO® Cook-in-Sauce Hawaiian Chicken
  • 4 burger rolls

  1. Mix the mince with the rolled oats, add the egg and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Shape mixture into 4 burger patties and fry in hot oil or braai over coals.
  3. Drain the can of pineapple, keep the juice and grill the rings.
  4. Prepare sauce by whisking 200 ml warmed reserved pineapple juice, 50 ml of water and Royco Cook-in-Sauce Hawaiian Chicken.
  5. Place a burger and pineapple ring into each hamburger roll and top up with the tangy sauce.
