Biker injured in Warner Beach collision

The biker was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition after sustaining severe injuries.

A MOTORBIKE and a vehicle collided on Saturday evening, 30 March outside Victory Kwik Spar in Warner Beach, leaving the motorbike rider severely injured.

Emergency Assist South Dispatch and Response WhatsApp group’s admin, Bevan van Vuuren received news of the accident at 6:52pm from a community member.

VEMA (Volunteer Emergency Medical Assistance) response member Juan du Plessis arrived on scene first and began stabilising the patient. The motorbike rider was critically injured. The driver of the vehicle sustained no injuries.

“Netcare advance life support paramedics stabilised the patient before transporting him to a nearby hospital,” said Bevan.
