SAARP members journey back in time
Members were asked to share information on something that has left a mark in their lives.

The South African Association of Retired Persons (SAARP) Toti branch’s annual general meeting took place recently at the Amanzimtoti Bowling Club. Themed ‘memories are made of this’, members were asked to share information on something that has left a mark in their lives.
Participants were given a small parcel of appreciation for their input. Nominations were called for and two new members were welcomed onto the committee; Cliffie Hole who will hold office of the secretary and Barbara Collins who will be the welcoming officer. The other long standing members remain unchanged: Maureen Roos as chairman; Megan Oschmann as vice chairman; Gill Brebner as treasurer; Annalise Laue for trips and outings and Bettie McCarthy is the membership secretary.
SAARP members meet again on Monday, 13 May at 9.30am for 10am to 11.30am at the Amanzimtoti Bowling Club. Ed Bartholomew will continue his talk on bees. All are welcome and membership is for the over 50s. Couples annual fee is R50 and individuals R30 per annum. Entrance fee of R5 per meeting is payable. Refreshments are served. Call or message Maureen on 031-903-4182, 082-436-9281 or send a WhatsApp message to 062-218-5335 for further information.
