Fry’s pigeons are in top form
Amanzimtoti Racing Pigeon Club members flew races 1 and 2 recently.

Five members flew a total of 72 birds a distance of about 334km from Vrede on Saturday, 1 June.
The first race was won by Doug Fry, whose pigeons also finished fourth, 19th and 20th. Bradshaw Lofts’ pigeons finished second, third, fifth, sixth, seventh, 13th, 14th, 16th and 18th. Basil Tait finished in eighth, ninth, 10th and 11th positions.
Two members flew a total of 20 birds, a distance of about 344km in the second race from Paul Roux also on Saturday, 1 June.
The race was won by Doug Fry, whose pigeons also finished second, third, fourth, sixth, seventh, ninth, 12th and 13th with Basil Tait in fifth, eighth, 10th, 11th and 14th.
