Wet roads cause havoc in Amanzimtoti
Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.

Eighteen people were left injured this morning (Tuesday, 1 September) following a rear-end collision on the N2 in Prospecton. ER24 paramedics, along with several other services, arrived on the scene at 7.40am to find a taxi and two light motor vehicles in the fast lane of the highway.
Several people were seen walking around in the centre median. “Medics assessed the patients and found that eighteen people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene. The patients were treated and transported to nearby hospitals for further care,” said ER24 communications officer, Russel Meiring.
It is believed the rain played a contributing factor in the cause of the collision and local authorities were on scene to investigate.
