Amanzimtoti NPOs host virtual career guidance
It happens on Friday, 4 September from 10am to 1pm, live on Facebook.

Seed of Hope (SOH), in partnership with Ikusaselihle, has stepped in to support the class of 2020 by providing a virtual career guidance that is aimed at helping them in these unprecedented times.
“Due to the challenges brought on by the pandemic, the school academic year remains one of many plans that were disturbed and unfortunately Grade 12 learners remain overwhelmed as they are challenged with taking the next step of their lives. As an organisation, we believe that guidance is always essential. This remains a priority and making the right decision in the beginning is a bonus, as the choice one takes contributes to almost their entire lives,” said SOH CEO, Londiwe Myeza.
“Both Ikusaselihle and SOH have held career guidance events around this time to assist learners, but sadly this year with the Covid-19 set-back and protocols, it is impossible to arrange such events and as a result we had to use online platforms,” said Ikusaselihle secretary, Sindy Khanyile.
They will host the virtual career guidance event at two schools – Amangwane Secondary School in Bergville and Mbambangwe High school in Bhekulwandle. This will allow students who don’t have access to the internet to participate and allow students from anywhere to join in the event. It happens on Friday, 4 September from 10am to 1pm. It will be live on Facebook and a Zoom link will also be provided on Facebook.
