Obey road rules [LETTER]
There has already been one death and countless serious accidents from cars, bikes and taxis racing to beat the lights.

EDITOR – Kingsway has become a seriously dangerous road from Friends Restaurant to the Robot intersection of Kingsway, Inyoni Crescent and Umdoni Road.
High speed cars, bike racing etc. It would appear red robots mean go.
Requests to put speed humps before and after the robots have previously been declined on the basis that this is an arterial road. However, there are many examples of so called arterial roads with speed humps.
What has not been taken into consideration by council is that the intersection is a school crossing for the pupils at Kingsway and Kuswag. Children walking across the road and parents turning into Umdoni taking their children to and from school are at a high risk.
There has already been one death and countless serious accidents from cars, bikes and taxis racing to beat the lights. The council needs to act before further serious accidents occur. For and behalf of Inyoni Crescent Neighbourhood Watch
