SoH aims to assist tourism

The renovations will require funding as well as resources that will assist us in turning these rooms into a Christian resort.

Renovations are under way at Seed of Hope (SoH). These vacant rooms will be refurbished and used as short term accommodation for the Christian community for spiritual retreats and conferences among other things. The buildings were last used by bible college students in the 90s when it was still called the Church of the Nazareen Bible College.

“As an organisation, we pride ourselves on the massive building that we own as it comes with a lot of potential and opportunity. Using the rooms as holiday accommodation will allow us to create employment opportunities, generate income for the organisation and will also ensure that we maximise and diversify the use of our property and facilities,” said CEO, Londiwe Myeza.

The renovations will require funding as well as resources that will assist us in turning these rooms into a Christian resort.

“Through this initiative, we wish to invite individuals, churches, companies and other organisations to partner with us in restoring these rooms.”

This Christian resort will be used for activities such as hosting diversity training and development activities, facilitating team building events, holiday camp programmes (educational, spiritual, training) and also host SoH guests and volunteers that are in need of accommodation. Plans and proposals are now in place and the project will commence in February.
