The sweetest way to save a life
Since lockdown, Cupcakes for Kids with Cancer was unable to conduct its usual fundraising ventures, however, the learners, teachers and parents of both schools supported the cupcake sale.
Cupcake angels descended to Little Life Pre-Primary and Prospectus Prescient Primary schools that assisted with the fundraising initiative. The little ones were overjoyed by the sweet treats. Since lockdown, Cupcakes for Kids with Cancer was unable to conduct its usual fundraising ventures, however, the learners, teachers and parents of both schools supported the cupcake sale.
“We are so thankful for both the schools that allowed us to conduct since fundraising initiative,” said one of the organisers, Shyanne Kanayee. I have been part of drives at various malls since 2015, however, we were unable to do so during lockdown. It is important for all of us to get involved and support a worthy cause such as this. Help us raise the much-needed funds by supporting this drive and purchasing a cupcake or two at R10 each. All proceeds will be donated to the Cupcakes for Kids with Cancer Foundation. It’s the sweetest way to save a life.”
To ensure that the organisation followed all Covid-19 protocols, all cupcakes were tightly packed. Shyanne appeals for companies, schools or individuals to support the organisation. For more information about the drive, contact Shyanne on 079 343 7291 or Emmie Barnard on 082 770 7998.
