Registration strictly online, says UKZN

The university urges the public not to visit any of its campuses for registration.

THE University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) has informed parents and prospective students that this year’s registration is strictly online.

The university said it has noticed that messages are being circulated on social media that encourage students and parents to visit one of its campuses from Monday, January 24.

“We wish to warn against these messages, which are misleading and irresponsible as the university’s position is clear on this matter. We urge students to abide by the university’s decision and register online,” stated UKZN.

According to the university, there are no registration services, or registration assistance available at any of its campuses. It noted that no parents or prospective students would be allowed onto any of the campuses for registration.

“All registration should take place from remote locations as this is meant to mitigate against any health risks to our staff and students,” said UKZN.

All registration information is available at www.ukzn.ac.za.
