Kingsway High awards top achievers

The top 3 in Grade 11 all achieved six distinctions and academic colours for their 2021 performance.

KINGSWAY High School recently hosted their annual academic, sports and cultural prizegiving to award students for their academic achievements from the 2021 school year.

The top three in grade 11 each achieved six distinctions and academic colours. First in the grade, Mikha’eel Asmall, was awarded the engineering graphics and design prize as well as the physical sciences prize.

Second in the grade, Ashleigh van Staden, this years deputy head girl, was awarded the life orientation prize, the Bertie Forster prize for accounting as well as the Afrikaans prize, with third in the grade being Sinothile Sabela.

A special acknowledgement goes to Hriday Parsad, who not only came first in grade 10 and was awarded the English home language prize, the design group prize for mathematics as well as the physical sciences prize, but who also obtained academic honours for achieving distinctions in all his subjects.
