The hospice’s CEO, Neil McDonald, said he was grateful for the donation from Sugen and Christina Pillay. The blankets were received after Neil made an appeal on Good news Community Radio and was contacted by Christina.

“We thank the newspapers and radio for always helping and being our voice. People see what we are doing and are offering assistance, as we are a nonprofit organisation,” said Neil.

Khanya Hospice can be contacted on hospice@khanyahospice.co.za or on 083 597 8985.
