The same could not be said at Amanzimtoti Beach and farther south as all sardine action seemed to be only happening up north.

According to a sardine spotter app, the community in Isipingo Beach could pull the nets from the shore, while in Amanzimtoti, fish lovers had to get on boats and head several hundred metres into the ocean to cast their nets.
