Winklespruit Licensing Centre weekend opening times

The Winklespruit Licensing Centre is open on Saturdays from 07:00 to 13:00 for the processing and applications of various driver's licensing-related services.

THE Department of Transport has released dates and times for driver’s licensing-related services at its Winklespruit centre, such as bookings for learner’s and driver’s tests, as well as testing and renewal of drivers’ licences.

Services also include applications for and renewals of PrDPs, and collection of driver’s licence cards.

Documents that are required for the processing of applications:
• Identity document or a smart card and a copy thereof
• Driver’s licence for PrDP applications
• Proof of residence
• R250 for the issue of a driver’s licence
• R90 for a temporary driver’s licence and one ID-sized photograph
• Eye test certificate not older than three months.

The following should be noted regarding proof of residence:
• It must not be older than three months
• It must clearly state the physical address
• If residing with parents, an affidavit done by the parent must accompany the proof of residence
• If leasing property, the lease agreement must be attached.

Open times:
The Winklespruit Driver’s Licence Testing Centre is open on the Saturdays of June 8, 15, 22 and 29 for all driver’s licence-related transactions from 07:00 to 13:00.
For motor-vehicle licence transactions, the Winklespruit Motor Licencing Office will be open on the Saturdays of June 8, 15, 22 and 29 from 07:00 to 12:30.
