Watch: N2 Ezimbokodweni bridge opens to traffic

The Ezimbokodweni River bridge on the N2 opened earlier today (21 November), after being damaged by heavy rain three weeks ago.

THE N2 Ezimbokodweni River bridge’s southbound carriageway re-opened to traffic at around 10:30 today (November 21) much to the jubilation of motorists who had endured traffic congestion on alternative routes for three weeks after a serious problem was encouraged with  bridge pillar.

Metro police top brass and Sanral’s representatives led the convoy of the first cars to cross the bridge after final inspections were completed and concrete barriers removed.
