The institution is 42 years old, and according to Manuel David of Iopsa, an alumnus of the school, uses aged plumbing infrastructure that needed a revamp.

Manuel said Iopsa is a non-profit organisation that was founded in 1989 to promote responsible plumbing and accountability in the country. Iopsa is mostly run by volunteers from the plumbing industry. The programme, meant to be carried out on April 1 or 2 as part of the NPO’s first corporate social investment initiative, was delayed to May 17.

“Through this programme, and thanks to our members and sponsors, Build It, Advanced Valves and Splashworks, we were able to make a tangible difference in the lives of Orissa Primary’s learners. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and everyone who contributed their time, resources, and expertise to this initiative. Your collective efforts have not only improved the school’s infrastructure but also brought joy and hope to the children. Be proud of the impact you’ve made. Your selflessness and commitment to giving back to the community are truly inspiring. Thank you for being part of this remarkable endeavour,” said Manuel.
