Check the January 2026 Sassa pay dates
Sassa has announced the grant payment dates for January 2026. Grant beneficiaries are reminded to always keep their card and pin safe.
THE South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has announced the grant payment dates for January 2026.

Dates:
- Old age grant – January 6, 2026
- Disability grant – January 7, 2026
- Children’s and all other grants – January 8, 2026
Beneficiaries can collect their grants on their allocated days at ATMs, pay points, or through other approved methods and are encouraged to avoid rushing to collection points all at once to help manage queues and ensure safety.
Grant beneficiaries are also reminded to always keep their card and pin safe and not to share them with anyone.
