‘Sadhguru, where are you?’ asks Terricia’s mother
Sadhguru, a spiritual figure from India and the founder of the Isha Foundation, organised the ill-fated pilgrimage to Mount Kailash in Tibet.
TERRICIA Govender’s mother, Linda, has lamented the apparent lack of support from Jagadish Vasudev, widely known as Sadhguru, after her daughter went missing during a spiritual tour organised by his organisation in Nepal.

Sadhguru is a spiritual figure from India and the founder of the Isha Foundation, which had organised the ill-fated pilgrimage to Mount Kailash in Tibet.
The group’s members are still unaccounted for since they were caught in a flash flood that destroyed the Gyirong immigration office on August 12 while they were inside.
Linda is in Nepal where she is helping look for Terricia and bring her back home to Isipingo Beach. In a public statement, she asked Sadhguru why he was not visibly showing support for the missing.
“I am looking for information. I am doing the work that a mother will do when her child is missing. I have to ask you directly, where are you? Where is the urgency? Where is the support for the families who are living every minute not knowing where their loved ones are?” asked Linda.
Since arriving in Nepal on September 3 accompanied by her brother and one of Terricia’s friends, Linda has travelled from village to village and spoken to people, looking for any useful information.
The Isha Foundation had not responded to emails at the time of publishing, but in a statement dated August 29, it said it has teams on the ground in both Tibet and Nepal assisting in rescue operations.
Most of the search has been conducted along the rivers, but today (September 7), Linda said they are taking the search inland.
