The operation involved collaboration with private security partners. Isipingo station commander Colonel Hensford Zama and communications officer Constable Donald Naidoo were in the air, actively communicating to the team on the ground, which resulted in the arrests.
Naidoo said the operation concluded with stop-and-search, patrols and visible policing, and was a great success. He added that suspects nabbed during the operation have appeared in court and were charged accordingly.
