Help the CCPO make Christmas more festive
Due to the financial strains placed on members of the community, the appeal has started early again this year.
HELP make Christmas more festive for those who are out in the field fighting crime and keeping the community safe, by donating towards the CCPO Christmas Appeal.
“I have been organising events and fundraisers for various organisations for the past 20 years, none of which I am employed by. I started the CCPO Christmas Appeal initiative nine years ago, to show appreciation, as a community, to the people who are out there 365/24/7 fighting crime and keeping our community safe,” said Reena Solomon.

Due to the financial strains placed on members of the community, Reena started the appeal early again this year. “It’s been a tough year for everyone, but even the smallest amount would be appreciated,” she said.
She said with the help of the community, she hopes to spread a little Christmas cheer and make Christmas extra special for all the supervisors, guards, street patrollers and response officers from CCPO, Blue Security and ET Rapid Response.

“Come rain or shine, they are committed and dedicated to keeping our community safe. They also put their lives on the line every day to protect us all,” said Reena.
The Christmas appeal will be wrapping up on November 18, as they will need to hand out all the gifts before the CCPO office closes on December 6.
