Join the Kingsburgh welfare’s beach walk

The fundraising initiative is all about connecting, empowering and nurturing families. The funds go towards the welfare and their material assistance programme.

THE Kingsburgh Child and Family Welfare (KCWF) will host their annual family beach walk on December 4, at Winkle Beach, from 07:00 to 07:30.

Walkers will meet in front of the Winklespruit Surf Life Saving Club. Entry on the day is R20 for adults and a bag of clothing (linen and/ or toys will be appreciated) and R10 for children. Dogs on leashes are welcome.

“It also a part of our family preservation programme, and creating awareness around gender-based violence,” said the organisation’s secretary, Linda Matthee.
