Bread makes all the difference to Khanya Hospice patients

With this generous donation, Khanya Hospice can provide a sandwich to its patients before medication is given.

A donation of bread to Khanya Hospice came exactly at the right time, when BB Bakery chose the hospice to be one of its nominees this year.

The donation was supported by Umkomaas Primary School.

CEO of Khanya Hospice, Neil McDonald, said the donation could not have come at a better time. “This is the time for giving. Thank you to those who worked behind the scenes to make this possible,” he said.

Thabile Dlamini, also from the hospice, was ready to make her patients happy with the donation. “We have to make sure that all patients eat before they take their medication. Some patients simply have no food,” she said.

McDonald thanked those who donated towards this kind gesture.
