Residents at the Elders Voice's home in Amanzimtoti were evacuated after the neighbour's wall collapsed, causing mud to flood through the property.

AN AMANZIMTOTI old age home, Elders Voice, is appealing for assistance after floods damaged the facility earlier today (February 20) when a neighbour’s wall collapsed and let in mud and water. The aged residents were evacuated at 04:00 for safety reasons.

The facility’s founder, Joanne Herbst, appeals for meals for 20 people, as well as bedding linen. She can be contacted on 079 028 6379.
